The City of Mendota has recently re-established its own police department in August of 2009. The Department consists of a Chief, 3 corporals, 4 officers, and two support staff on a full time basis. The department is further staffed with several reserve police officers and assisting support staff members. The Mendota Police keep law and order on our streets, and assist our residents in times of trouble.
